Important Additional Loan Agreement & Disclosure:

Application TermsBy entering your personal information in this application, you warrant you personally liveworkworship or attend school in Benton or Franklin County, Washington, and that everything you have stated is correct to the best of your knowledge. You understand that Tri‐CU will retain this information, whether or not the loan is approved. You authorize Tri‐CU to check your credit history and retrieve your credit score, and to inquire about your credit experience or employment.  Upon loan approval, you further authorize TRI‐CU to open a basic share savings account for you and agree to the account terms and conditions (below, in addition to those which will be electronically delivered during this application process) related to the basic share savings account as well as any future selected services, and to any amendment this credit union makes from time to time, which will be contained and incorporated within. You authorize Tri‐CU to provide information about your accounts(s) to any person or entity when required by law.

Funded after all documents received and verified: Even if you are instantly approved for this loan, Tri-CU may still need to receive and review your photo ID, application information, proof of income, etc., prior to opening the account or funding the loan. After the loan documents are delivered by e-mail, we will send another e-mail request for any remaining verification items needed (such as Photo ID, Proof of Income, etc.).  Funding may be delayed until you deliver all requested items.

Save your documents: Remember to download and SAVE a copy of the signed online documents, which include the new account disclosures.

Your monthly payment: Your copy of these documents will specify the minimum monthly loan payment amount, and when it is due (typically 1 (one) month after the loan agreement is signed (the monthly anniversary).

Funds given directly to contractor: Once your loan account is opened, Tri-CU will automatically deliver the funds to your contractor providing the services. The contractor will then schedule or complete the agreed upon services directly with you.

Important FEE Disclosures

Depending on the loan type and term, some fees may be added to your loan balance, after initial funding. These additional costs may delay the final quoted maturity and payoff date, and may affect the total finance charge disclosed on the loan agreement.  These additional financed costs may include some or all, of the following:

  • $5 Share Savings Deposit: To open the membership account if you are not already a member of the credit union. This $5 is refundable if you close your membership in the future.
  • $10 Credit Report Fee (per applicant), which pays the credit bureau cost of pulling credit.
  • $30 UCC filing fee (minimum), for terms of 60 months or less and “A” Credit, for loan amounts under $20,000.
  • $300 additional UCC Filing Fee, for terms exceeding 60 months, or below “A” Credit.
